Four of our family members ranging from elementary school to adults been coming here for years.  We have always had excellent experience from the doctor and all of the staff.  Super helpful, patient and always friendly.  An amazing selection of frames to choose from. 10/10 experience from beginning to end. Dr. Lohmeyer is awesome and the staff that helped me pick out frames both times were fantastic. September 2026 update: I wanted to update my review after an especially meaningful appointment. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lohmeyer and his team. I’ve been under his care for several years for recurrent uveitis, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care, compassion, and kindness I’ve consistently received.

At my most recent appointment, I was feeling particularly emotional and overwhelmed after dealing with another difficult episode. Dr. Lohmeyer took so much time with me, answering my questions, talking through my options, and simply listening. I never felt rushed. He was patient, reassuring, incredibly kind, and made me feel genuinely cared for.

His entire team is wonderful, too. Everyone is always so warm, friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. When you’re dealing with an ongoing medical condition, those seemingly small interactions can make such a difference in how supported you feel.

The True Eye Care team was amazing.  I had some scary stuff happening with my eyes and called them for an appointment.  They got me in immediately and were patient and thorough - did all the tests. Wow, what an amazing experience today. I signed up the day before with insurance and was covered to see a doctor with an appointment for contacts the very next day! I also saw an advertisement and went for a pair of sunglasses and saved money by going in person. The staff was incredibly friendly and they taught me how to use meta smartglasses. True Eye Care has been by far the best treatment I’ve had at any eye care facility. Dr.Lu is amazing! The whole office is super thorough & attentive. Their equipment is high tech & they have a ton of modern options for frames. My husband & I are very pleased with the care we receive from True Eye Care! Thanks guys!
